"Investigate the highs and lows and think about why a particular product of treatment did or did not sell well at a certain time. Capitalise on what went well - if you ran a promotion that was popular, do it again this year. If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it. If a product sold so well during a particular season that you ran out of stock, make plans to increase your order at the same time this year, so you don't lose out again." By learning from your numbers and taking steps to avoid activity that your figures tell you didn't work you can avoid costly mistakes.
